My Bio
Name: Kevin Boucher
Born : 26 May 1965
Place: Sutton, MA

I grew up in Sutton, Massachusetts, a quiet town in Central MA. I graduated from Sutton Memorial High School in 1983.
Right after High School I went into the U.S.Army. I spent 3 years at Ft.Hood Texas as an electronic specialist. I returned home after my enlistment only to find that jobs were scarce, and I couldn't find anything worth hanging on to, so, I reenlisted. This is where it gets interesting...
I couldn't get my old job back as an electronic specialist, so I let the recruiter talk me into the combat arms. I signed up for Airborne Field artillery. Now I have to tell you, I was and still am scared to death of heights.
I made it through Artillery training and went off to Jump School at Ft. Benning, GA. I can't believe I made it! Off to Caserma Ederle Vicenza, Italy! I went to Delta Battery 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, attached to the 3/325th Airborne Battalion Combat Team.
Still nothing about Elvis?  It's comin' , it's comin'...
Italy is an awesome place if you've never been there. You should go, it's beautiful. Anyway, that's where I met my wife Debora. After 13 years, I am still in love with her.
While stationed in Italy the Gulf War came. We waited to get called up, and waited, and waited. Still nothing. Finally the war ended. Hooray! Well guess what? We ended up getting called out anyway to Operation Provide Comfort in support of the Kurds who were still being threatened. So, after my little deployment, I decided that being married and being in the military was not a good combo. So, I got out again.
We went back to the U.S. and I found a job working in a bakery on the late shift. Did it for four years. I hated it. So back to Italy I go!
While being back here in Italy I worked my way from dishwasher, to where I am now as an administrative assistant for MWR. where I work in the Financial Management Division.
Now during this time a great thing happened. Debora and I decided it was time for a baby. Sure enough 20 October 2001 Thomas Ian Boucher was born! I sang Elvis to him from the time he was in his Mamma's tummy!  He's now my biggest fan! That's right, I said I sang Elvis to him, it's time for that story now...
Now while working in the office, I was called into the conference room by the Big Boss Man. He was in conference with the base club managers. He had seen a picture of me in a cheapo Elvis halloween costume I wore in Venice's Carnivale. They wanted to know if I'd dress up in my Elvis costume for Elvis' 25 Anniversary. I, being the psycho that I am said yes. Then they asked me if I could sing. I said "  Sure". Next thing you know, Kev has an Elvis CD and a Karaoke player with an Elvis Karaoke disk. Now, though I always liked Elvis, at that time the only songs I knew by heart was Can't Help Falling in Love, and Suspicious Minds.
Well I practiced a couple of more songs. I figured, I'll sing with the CD and do the songs I knew last. Well, it went great! I couldn't believe it, everyone was clapping when I started singing on my own! That was the highlight of the show!
I was ecstatic! I just had to have more! So I started on the path of an Elvis Tribute Artist.  A year and a half later and a few shows under my belt, I'm loving it, and judging by the audiences, they love it too!

Thankyouverymuch for taking the time to read this, I hope it wasn't too boring.
